Gems Sensors & Controls CAP-100, non-contact, capacitive level switch
- Non-contact level switch designed for monitoring liquid level through plastic / glass / fibreglass containers.
- e.g. containers of waste, reagent or diluent liquid
- Great for nasty chemicals or tanks which don't allow for easy mounting of contact switches (e.g. float switches).
- Works well with dark, sticky and viscous liquids difficult to sense in other ways
- Temperature: -25 » 70°C
- Supply: 5»48Vdc
- Protection: transient, short circuit, reverse polarity & overload
- Enclosure: weatherproof (IP67, NEMA 1»13)
- Mounting: simple wall mount
- Sensing range: gap between sensor surface & liquid including wall thickness of container
- Output: switch (transistor) - either wet or dry sink for water based or non-conductive liquids
- Setting: adjustable sensitivity for on-site calibration to media

- Great for nasty chemicals or tanks which don't allow for easy mounting of contact switches (e.g. float switches).
